Bryan Midgett

I was saved at an early age in life. It was a genuine salvation experience, but I was for years a silent Christian. In my college years I made a commitment to serve my Lord with all that I am and have. I have grown in love for my Lord and stand amazed at His power, wisdom and comfort He gives us. I am a greatly imperfect person who is being molded by the Master into what He desired me to be.  I am learning that submission to His perfect will is the best I can do. He has blessed me more that I could have ever imagined. He has challenged me more than I thought I could handle, but our Lord is God and He is and has always been faithful. My wife, Lynn, and I have raised two children. We have a marriage that is blessed by God. I have been a member of this church for 25 years. We knew we were led to Lone Jack Baptist the moment we walked into the doors. It has not always been perfect, but it is our family.  We love this church and continue to look forward to seeing what our Lord wants it to be. A church is an ever growing, changing and living thing. It is continually being perfected until our Lords return, and it’s exciting to watch and be a part of it. We continue to grow in love, obedience to the scripture and commitment to each other as we all are in this process of being molded, shaped and perfected into Christ’s image.
